Finally, after several months of virtual meetings due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the group met in Ferrara, hosted by the main coordinator Prof. Giorgio Bertorelle. This is the second in-person meeting since the beginning of the ENDEMIXIT project. For the more recent additions to the group, it has been the first opportunity to greet and talk face-to face with colleagues from the other institutes after so many remote collaborations. All the necessary safety and sanitation measures were in effect to protect the attendees’ health. The local units presented their most recent developments, and the whole group was involved in discussions about results, challenges as well as future directions. In-person meetings are definitely more enriching and gratifying than virtual calls! We will soon update you about our most recent results discussed at the meeting and what is planned for the next months, stay tuned!
